Where can I find the best by date on Marzetti products? How do you read the date?

Below is where you can find and read our best by dates on Marzetti products:

Products: Marzetti Veggie Dips, Marzetti Caramel Dips, Marzetti Chocolate Dips, Marzetti Fruit Dips

Location and Best By Date: On tub near the lid or occasionally on the lid and rim of container. Best by yy/mm/dd/ plant code time of production line id.

Can I use Marzetti Caramel Dip to make candied apples?

While our caramel dips are great for dipping, they are not meant for making candied apples. The Caramel Dip will not harden when it cools, therefore not creating the same results as a candied apple.

I love chocolate covered strawberries. Can I use your Chocolate Dip to make my own?

Our Chocolate Dip is not formulated to harden when it cools, so it will not work when making chocolate-covered strawberries.

What is an UPC Code?

1. A UPC code is how Marzetti identifies each product. The UPC is the barcode on the packaging, devised of 12 digits. When contacting Marzetti regarding a product, please be sure to have this 12 digit number as it will make it easier to address your questions.
